Ultra, a Web3 gaming operating system, has unveiled a $1 million grant fund to propel the development of on-chain tools, games, and services, aiming to transform digital ownership and decentralized applications.
Launched on July 21, 2025, the initiative targets developers to build scalable, real-world Web3 solutions, leveraging Ultra’s gas-free, high-performance blockchain infrastructure.
Three-Tiered Support for Developers
The Ultra Developer Grants program is structured into three tiers to cater to projects at various stages.
Micro Grants (up to $5,000) fuel early-stage experiments and prototypes, while Seed Grants ($5,000–$50,000) support scaling operational dApps, NFT marketplaces, and wallet integrations.
Strategic Grants (up to $250,000) back high-impact projects like native blockchain games and critical infrastructure with eligible projects including play-to-own blockchain games, DeFi applications, and NFT marketplaces.
Community-Driven Innovation
Ultra’s transparent, five-step process ensures alignment with ecosystem goals.
1. Developers submit proposals detailing project impact and strategy, which are evaluated by a committee of Ultra experts for technical feasibility.
2. Shortlisted projects undergo community voting by $UOS token holders, ensuring funds support community-endorsed initiatives.
3. Milestone-based funding and bi-weekly check-ins maintain project momentum and accountability.
Ultra’s Cutting-Edge Ecosystem
Built on a gas-free, C++-based architecture, Ultra eliminates transaction costs and latency, ideal for high-frequency games and applications. Its NFT UNIQ standard embeds business logic into tokens, enabling innovative digital assets.
Projects like EMPIRES, a strategy game with community-driven governance, MetaHoof, a Web3 horse-racing game with unique NFT horses, and CLOAK, a privacy-focused protocol, showcase Ultra’s potential to redefine digital ownership.
A Call to Builders
With a robust developer toolkit, including SDKs, APIs, and WalletConnect, Ultra is empowering creators to build seamlessly.
